Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus a year ago at 112,000 head. December live cattle is trading at 109.72, up 0.37 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 110.72, up 0.55 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 110.35, up 0.50 cents/lb.
