U.S. Dollar Index Higher, Jobless Claims Fall

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 98.84, up 0.31. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading rangebound. The Department of Labor reported that weekly jobless claims fell to 254,000 from 265,000 last week. The University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey is due out Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET.
