Corn Futures Little Lower

December Corn is trading at 353, down 1 3/4 cents/bushel. March Corn is trading at 361, down 1 3/4 cents/bushel. Corn futures are trading steady to lower. Chatter about the USDA crop report due out on Wednesday November 9th is starting to show up. The weekly U.S. corn harvest report showed 75 percent of the U.S. corn crop was harvested versus 61 percent last week and 82 percent a year ago. The ten year average at this time of year is 68 percent. The USDA reported on Monday that corn export inspections for the current marketing year as of October 27th are now 16.2 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 15.2 percent.
