EUR/USD Higher, German CPI Edges Up

EUR/USD is trading at 1.0921, up 0.0024. The pair is trading modestly choppy and a little under the session highs. Market chatter about global money flows is making the rounds. Germany's Federal Statistical Office reported that October CPI (Consumer Price Index) rose 0.8 percent versus a year ago after a 0.7 percent year over year rise in September. On the month October CPI edged up 0.2 percent versus a rise of 0.1 percent in September. Germany's Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) rose 0.2 percent in October versus flat reading in September. Year over year German HICP rose 0.7 percent versus 0.5 percent September.
