Soybean Futures Little Higher

November Soybeans are trading at 978 1/2, up 3 cents/bushel. January Soybeans are trading at 987 1/4, up 2 1/2 cents/bushel. December Soymeal is trading at 305.7, up 1.1 $/ton. December Soybean Oil is trading at 34.96, down 0.09 cents/lb. Soybean futures are trading steady to higher, chatter about weather for the soybean harvest is making the rounds. The USDA reported on Thursday that soybean export sales for 2016 to 2017 as of October 13th are now 57.6 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 58.4 percent. Soymeal sales for the current year are 29.9 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 37.3 percent. Soybean oil sales for the current year are now 27.1 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 19.1 percent.
