Lean Hog Futures Little Changed

December lean hogs are trading at 43.92, down 0.12 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 50.67, down 0.25 cents/lb. Lean hog futures are trading a little lower just after the open. Chatter about supplies of hogs and consumer demand is making the rounds. Wednesday's USDA hog slaughter was 396,000 head. The total for the week is now 1,176,000 head. Trading is expected to be very choppy with possible wide ranges.
