U.S. Dollar Index Lower, Import and Export Prices Edge Up

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.82, down 0.13. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading just above the session lows. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that import prices rose 0.1 percent versus a decline of 0.2 percent in August and export prices rose 0.3 percent versus a 0.8 percent fall in August.
