U.S. Dollar Index Higher, GDP Edges Up


The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.59, up 0.25.

The U.S. Dollar Index is trading modestly choppy and at session highs.

Market talk about global headline news and comments from policy makers is making the rounds.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis reported that real gross domestic product increased at an annual rate of 1.4 percent in the second quarter of 2016. During the first quarter GDP increased 0.8 percent.

The National Association of Realtors is scheduled to release pending home sales at 10:00 a.m. ET.
