EUR/USD Little Changed, France GDP Contracts

EUR/USD is trading at 1.1204, down 0.0004. The pair is trading rangebound after Thursday's choppy session. INSEE reported that second quarter gross domestic product (GDP) shrank 0.1 percent in France quarter over quarter compared to a preliminary figure of a flat reading and 0.7 percent growth in the first quarter. Year over year the economy expanded 1.3 percent versus 1.4 percent expansion in the first quarter. France's Manufacturing purchasing managers survey for September (PMI) rose to 49.5 from 48.3 in August, the services PMI rose to 54.1 from 52.3 and the composite PMI improved to 53.3 from 51.9.
