U.S. Dollar Index Trading Higher

The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.87, up 0.11. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading rangebound and a little under the highs of the day. Market chatter about comments from world leaders at the United Nations assembly and Federal Reserve monetary policy is making the rounds. The Federal Reserve Federal Open Market Committee ( FOMC) rate decision is due out Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. ET. A press conference held by Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is scheduled to follow the decision.
