U.S. Dollar Index Edges Lower, Retail Sales Slip
The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.07, down 0.18.

The Census Bureau reported that August retail sales fell 0.3 percent versus a 0.1 percent rise in July.
The Department of Labor reported that weekly jobless claims rose 1000 to 260,000 from 259,000 last week.
