USDA Daily Hog Slaughter; Lean Hog Futures Mixed

Monday's USDA Hog slaughter was 440,000 head versus a year ago at 435,000 head. October lean hogs are trading at 59.55, up 0.32 cents /lb. December lean hogs are trading at 53.00, down 0.92 cents/lb. February lean hogs are trading at 57.75, down 1.02 cents/lb. December and February hog futures set new contracts lows today.
