USDA Export Sales; Corn and Wheat Futures Lower

The USDA reported today that Soybean weekly export sales for the current marketing year for the period ending September 1st totaled 1,776,800 tonnes. Corn weekly export sales for the current year beginning September 1st totaled 1,093,300 tonnes. Wheat export sales for the current year totaled 661,100 tonnes. Soymeal sales for the current year totaled 63,000 tonnes. Sales for 2016 to 2017 were 54,400 tonnes. Soybean Oil sales for the current year totaled 3,500 tonnes, sales for next year were 900 tonnes. November Soybeans are trading at 977, up 1 /2 of a cent/bushel, December Corn is trading 335 1/2, down 3 cents/bushel and December Chicago Wheat is trading at 401 3/4, down 4 1/4 cents/bushel.
