USDA Daily Cattle Slaughter; Live Cattle Futures New Contract Lows


Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 112,000 head versus a year ago at 108,000 head.

October live cattle is trading at 101.57, down 2.00 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 103.42, down 1.97 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 104.20, down 1.77 cents/lb.

October Live Cattle futures traded choppy and set new contract lows today.
