Live Cattle Futures Little Changed

October live cattle is trading at 106.55, down 0.02 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 108.35, down 0.02 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 108.40, down 0.15 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are steady to lower. Market chatter about weather for consumer demand is making the rounds. Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 112,000 head. The USDA cattle slaughter for the week is now 337,000 head versus 338,000 head last week and 330,000 head a year ago.
