The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 94.77, down 0.81. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading at the session lows. Market talk about comments by members Federal Reserve and global headline news is making the rounds. The Census Bureau is scheduled to report Housing Starts and Building Permits at 8:30 a.m. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release CPI data (consumer price index) at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Federal Reserve is scheduled to release industrial production and capacity utilization figures at 9:15 a.m. ET. Trading is very soft. Some chatter about buyers near 94.45 and sellers near 95.26 is showing up.
