U.S. Dollar Index Lower Ahead of Data

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 95.57, down 0.10. The U.S. Dollar Index is trading a little lower Monday afternoon. Market talk about economic data due out Tuesday is just starting to show up. The Census Bureau is scheduled to report Housing Starts and Building Permits at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release CPI data (consumer prices) at 8:30 a.m. ET. The Federal Reserve is scheduled to release industrial production and capacity utilization figures at 9:15 a.m. ET.
