Wheat Futures Little Higher

September Chicago Wheat is trading at 406 1/2, up 3 1/4 cents/bushel. December Chicago Wheat is trading at 432 1/4, up 1 1/4 cents/bushel. September Kansas City Wheat is trading at 407, up 1 1/4 cents/bushel. Wheat futures are trading steady to higher Friday morning after Thursday's choppy session The USDA reported on Thursday that export sales for the current marketing year are now 40.1 percent of the USDA forecast versus the five year average of 39.8 percent. The European Union (EU) issued export licenses for 325,000 tonnes of wheat during the week. The USDA is scheduled to release the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report (WASDE) and crop production data Friday August 12th.
