Soybean Futures Fall

August Soybeans are trading at 1014 1/4, down 18 1/4 cents/bushel. September Soybeans are trading at 1006, down 19 1/2 cents/bushel. November Soybeans are trading at 993, down 19 1/2 cents/bushel. August Soymeal is trading at 347, down 5.5 $/ton. August Soybean Oil is trading at 30.68, down 0.38 cents/lb. Soybean futures are trading at session lows early Friday morning. Market talk about weather forecasts is constant. The USDA reported on Thursday that export sales for soybeans for the current marketing year are now 106.4 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 102.6 percent. Soymeal sales are 95.9 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 93.4 percent. Soybean Oil sales are at 108.8 percent of the forecast versus the five year average of 87.7 percent.
