U.S. Dollar Index Erases Losses

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.51, down 0.08. The U.S. dollar index is trading choppy and has erased a good portion of the early session losses. Market talk about headline news and comments by global economic policy makers is ongoing and has kept both buyers and sellers active. Chatter about U.S. economic data due out Wednesday is just starting to show up. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is scheduled to release Import and export price data at 8:30 a.m. ET The Federal Reserve Beige Book is scheduled for release at 2:00 p.m. ET.
