USDA Daily Cattle Slaughter; Live Cattle Futures Down the Limit

Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head versus a year ago at 107,000 head. August live cattle is offered at 109.22, down 3.00 cents/lb. October live cattle is offered at 109.32. Both August and October live cattle futures are down the daily permissible limit. December live cattle is trading at 110.80, down 2.92 cents/lb.
