USD/JPY Little Changed

USD/JPY is trading at 123.52, up 0.10. Japan's Merchandise trade balance and year over year export data is due out on Tuesday evening. The Bank of Japan will hold its monetary policy meeting and release a statement on the evening of Thursday June 18th. Chatter about the U.S. Federal Reserve Meeting is now constant. Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda, and Deputy Governor Kikuo Iwata were in front of Japan's Upper House Financial Affairs Committee last night. Governor Kuroda delivered the central bank's semi-annual Report on Currency and Monetary Control and repeated the same remarks made previously about QE and the price stability target of 2%.
