Friday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus a year ago at 110,000 head.

Live Cattle futures traded choppy and moved higher for most of the trading session. June Live Cattle was trading at 151.50, up 2.12. August Cattle was trading at 149.87, up 1.60.
