Livestock futures choppy as labor negotiations move along

There are many reports on the contract deal for West Coast Ports. U.S Labor Secretary Perez has been meeting since Wednesday with both sides. His participation seems to be moving the process along. Livestock futures trading has been choppy with every report coming out of the negotiations. Exports for U.S. Meat has been lacking this year and hopes are the process end and a deal will be reached. There is USDA cold storage report due out Friday afternoon and livestock traders are expecting more choppy trading ahead of the data. April Hogs are trading higher at 68.22 up 1.17 Last in June Hogs is 82.00 up 0.55. . Live Cattle has traded wildly on both sides of unchanged Friday. Last check April live cattle was trading higher at 151.87 up 0.20 and June Live cattle was trading higher 144.32, up 0.32.
