Morning Livestock Futures Trading is Mixed

Livestock Futures are mixed this morning. Weather is good and warm across much of the nation, and is not hindering livestock movement. February Cattle is trading lower at 161.70. February Lean Hogs are trading higher at 83.60. The USDA will release the Quarterly Pig-Crop report on December 23rd. USDA pork cut-out values released after the close were firm from Thursday but down on the week at 91.93. Cash news is steady to weak to start the pre-holiday week trading.
