A Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL flight from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale was diverted back to Atlanta Monday after takeoff.

The Boeing Co BA 757 was “yawing aggressively so we decided to turn back,” the pilot told passengers, according to a Benzinga staff member on the flight.

Delta flight No. 1413 took off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 1:54 p.m. ET and landed back in Atlanta at 2:34 p.m., according to Google’s flight tracking data.

Benzinga has contacted Delta Air Lines for more information on the diverted flight.

Recent incidents with Boeing planes have drawn widespread scrutiny of the manufacturer. The blowout of the door on a 737 flown by Alaska Airlines in January has triggered a Justice Department investigation of Boeing.
