Visa Inc.V inked two new pacts with Air Transat and London Drugs to expand installments enabled by Visa to more eligible Canadian credit cardholders.
Using Installments enabled by Visa, consumers can convert purchases into smaller, equal installments over a specified period using an eligible credit card.
Earlier this month, Visa collaborated with Belgium-based secure financial messaging services provider Swift to streamline international business-to-business (B2B) payments and speed up cross-border money movement.
"We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our installments program to London Drugs and Air Transat, enabling Canadian cardholders with a more flexible payment experience within the familiarity and security of a Visa transaction process," said Kris Tsaousidis, VP of Merchant Solutions and Acquiring, Visa Canada.
The company recently inked a five-year partnership with the U.K.-based payment platform Paysend for international money transfers through Visa Direct, its real-time money movement network.
