Airbus Delivers 52 Airplanes To 34 Customers In August

Airbus SE EADSY delivered 52 airplanes to 34 customers in August, with gross orders totaling 117 in the month.

The company's year-to-date deliveries totaled 433 airplanes to 77 customers.

Airbus registered 1,218 net orders in the year's first eight months of 2023, after 39 cancellations. Gross orders so far this year totaled 1,257.

Year to date, the largest orders were from India-based airlines Indigo and Air India. 

August deliveries were slower than last month, when Airbus delivered 65 airplanes to 36 customers in July, with gross orders totaling 60.

The European plane maker and Air France-KLM AFLYY AFRAD have recently entered exclusive negotiations to establish a joint venture to provide Airbus A350 component maintenance services worldwide. Under the JV pact, Air France and Airbus will transfer aircraft components assets belonging to both partners into the joint venture's pool.

Price Action: EADSY shares closed 0.14% higher at $35.91 on Wednesday.
