Bitcoin Drops Below $27,000; Pepe, Optimism Among Top Losers

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices falling below the key $27,000 level on Friday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also edged lower, but remained above the key $1,800 mark this morning.

SingularityNET (CRYPTO: AGIX) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Pepe (CRYPTO: PEPE) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.13 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.6%. BTC was trading lower by 1.1% at $26,918 while ETH fell by around 0.1% to $1,817 on Friday.
