Jo-Ann Stores Inc (NYSE: JAS) swung to a Q2 profit of $0.20 per share, from a loss of $0.13 per share, in the year-ago period. The company’s sales rose 4.7% y/y to $439.3 million. JAS’ shares rose 5.51% to $38.85 in after-hours trading.
Analysts are expecting Novell (NASDAQ: NOVL) to have earned $0.07 per share in the third-quarter. NOVL’s shares lost 0.03% to $5.71 in the after-hours trading session.
JDS Uniphase Corp (NASDAQ: JDSU) swung to a Q4 profit of $0.01 per share, from a net loss of $0.29 per share, in the year-ago period. The company’s revenue increased 43% y/y to $390.9 million. JDSU’s shares moved down 2.96% to $9.92 in after-hours trading.
