Jim Belushi's Race Against Time: Can He Save His Cannabis Farm In 'Growing Belushi' Season 3?

Discovery WBD's hit series "Growing Belushi" returns for a third season, taking viewers on another wild ride with Jim Belushi as he builds his cannabis empire in Oregon.

The new season is set to premiere on Wednesday, April 5 at 9PM ET/PT. The show follows Jim and his team of farmers as they strive to turn Belushi's Farm into a national cannabis brand, with an ultimate goal of global expansion. However, Jim's own missteps could put the success of his business at risk.

In the season premiere, Belushi's Farm suffers a suspicious fire, resulting in $500,000 worth of cannabis, the farm's barn and its drying facility going up in smoke. As the cause of the fire remains uncertain, the authorities investigate while Jim and his team race to find a place to dry and cure their next harvest. With another $500,000 of cannabis on the line, the future of Belushi's Farm hangs in the balance.

This season will feature Jim ignoring his plans for a slow and steady expansion across the USA in favor of rapid growth. He aims to sell his legendary strains of "Captain Jack," "Cherry Pie" and "Blues Brothers Working Man's Brand" as quickly as possible, as he believes he is on "his mission from God" to heal those in need. The season will also explore opportunities and take road trips with his cousin Chris and business partner, actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd. Additionally, the team will journey to the central coast of California in search of the legendary "Big Sur Holy Weed," a cannabis seed that sparked the hippie cannabis revolution in the 1960s.

To celebrate 4/20, an annual celebration of cannabis, Discovery will air a "Growing Belushi" marathon featuring all episodes of the series to date beginning Thursday, April 20 at 7AM ET/PT.
