SPY TREND at Support

Today's open put the HLC TREND line dead on technical support at -3.  We only seen 3 other situations in the past year where SPY has broken this support level, the last 2 being in August and September so the current situation should not be ignored.  Also note the position of the HLC Trend X (moving pivot line), which has clearly taken a turn for the worse. The VIX popped 22% in early action, but a settled a bit in the PM session.  Meanwhile, the NYAD is trying to break above .15 levels after a truly bearish .07 open.  We're not out of the woods yet as positive US economic news butts up against dismal European news.
