SRE, RBS Enter Deal With Noble Group

Sempra Energy SRE and Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc RBS announced on Monday that they had agreed to sell the Sempra Energy Solutions unit to Noble Group Ltd NOBGF for $582 million. The unit is part of their RBS-Sempra Commodities joint venture. According to the deal, $317 million will be paid in cash and $265 million will be in debt assumption. Shares of RBS gained 0.74% to $15.05 at 9:55 am, while shares of SRE inched up 0.08% to $53.12. NOBGF shares rose 0.75% to $1.35 at the same time. Read more from Benzinga's Company news.
