MetroPCS up 14% on Strong Q4 Earnings

MetroPCS Communications PCS is trading higher on the session following its Q4 earnings announcement. The company reported EPS of $0.25 vs $0.16 estimate and revenues of $1.24 billion vs $1.24 billion estimate. Roger D. Linquist, Chairman and CEO of MetroPCS, said, ”We reported solid financial and operating results for 2011, marked by record Adjusted EBITDA for the full year and the fourth quarter as well as strong full year subscriber growth. Adjusted EBITDA both for the fourth quarter and the full year 2011 was the highest in company history at $362 million and $1.3 billion, respectively." MetroPCS is currently trading at $11.76, a gain of $1.48 or 14.40%.
