British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams has attributed his significant weight loss to a drug similar to Ozempic, revealing that his weight gain has grave impacts on his mental health.

Robbie admitted in a new interview that gaining weight can be “shockingly catastrophic” to his mental health, reported Express.

“Babe, I’m on Ozempic. Well, something like Ozempic. It’s like a Christmas miracle,” he said, referring to the “miracle” weight loss drug that has taken Hollywood by storm.

Since taking the Ozempic-like drug, Williams disclosed he had lost over a stone, adding, “And I need it, medically. I’ve been diagnosed with type 2 self-loathing.”

A forthcoming Netflix documentary on Robbie will unfold his journey including his rise to fame, his public breakdown, and his struggles with weight and mental health. The four-part series, set to air on Nov. 8, will feature never-before-seen footage of Robbie along with new interviews.

Robbie, who has been candid about his ongoing battle with mental illness, reached his lowest point when his fame was at its peak. He battled agoraphobia from 2006 to 2009 and went into rehab in 2007 after using several illegal and prescription drugs. The singer is now sober and lives with his wife Ayda Field and their four children.
