According to a report from Dow Jones, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo isn't worried about whether he's missing the IPO window. Instead, he repeats the usual Twitter mantra about focusing on growth. This level of discipline is particularly impressive, and I take it as a good sign about Costolo's leadership.
The report states:
‘It's working so well that I don't need to worry about a public market window, or the opportunity closing or opening or any exogenous forces like that,' Dick Costolo told CNBC in an interview. ‘We just don't think about those things.'
This news comes on the heels of Twitter's announcement of a self-service advertising product.
