Top Kill On The Road To Success (BP)

Reports have come in that pressure in the oil spill well in the Gulf of Mexico has been greatly reduced after the pumping of drilling fluid/mud into the well. One shipload of mud has already been exhausted and the other shipload was on its way when the reports came in. Engineers will first reduce the pressure to absolute zero before attempting to pump cement into the hole to seal it. Both BP (ADR) BP and the Coast Guard have not officially termed the Top Kill a success yet. However, the estimates of the rate of the oil spill might be revised upward from 5000 barrels a day after fresh investigation.
