ProShares UltraShort Silver (ETF)ZSL spiked 12.02% on Wednesday, and it closed at $9.41. ZSL had a volume of 20.82M traded shares, and its average volume is 6.26M shares. PowerShares DB Gold Double Short ETNDZZ gained 11.83% as gold futures traded sharply lower. Gold plunged as Ben Bernanke didn't announce further quantitative easing in his testimony prepared for the House Financial Services Committee. Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares TZA traded 4.78% higher as the Russell 2000 Index lost 1.56%. TZA closed at $19.50, and it had a volume of 34.02M traded shares. Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3X Shares SOXS jumped 4.35%, and it closed at $33.81. In the semiconductor space, MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. WFR dropped 5.53%, and Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT fell 2.47%.
