ProShares UltraShort DJ-UBS Natural Gas (NYSEAMEX: KOLD) plunged 17.86% on Monday as natural gas traded higher on the news that Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) is going to cut the production of natural gas.
VelocityShares Daily 2x VIX Short Term ETN (NYSEARCA: TVIX) lost 5.45%, and it closed at $19.10. This was the fifth consecutive trading session that TVIX closed higher.
Powershares DB Crude Oil Double Short ETN (NYSEARCA: DTO) fell 3.04% after EU announced that it will stop buying oil from Iran in the second half of the year. Iran responded with a threat that it will stop shipments from Persian Gulf.
Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bear 3x Shares(ETF) (NYSEARCA: EDZ) dropped 2.49%, and it closed at $14.50. Petroleo Brasileiro SA (ADR) (NYSE: PBR) is a component of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, and it spiked 4.29%.
