Velti Plc VELT dropped 8.71 percent to $1.41 after the company laid off about 200 staff and lowered its guidance for 2013. China Recycling Energy Corp. CREG traded down 11.38 percent to $1.02. Cornerstone Therapeutics CRTX plummeted 11.32 percent to $8.77 after the company received CARDENE(R) I.V. Paragraph IV Notice letter Dynavax Technologies Corp. DVAX dropped 10.14 percent to a new 52-week low of $1.24 on major FDA setback. Barnes & Noble BKS dropped 6.86 percent to $19.84 on a Deal Reporter story that Microsoft MSFT may not be buying the assets of Nook Media. Hemisphere Media Group HMTV plunged 15.50 percent to $13.47. Unilife Corp. UNIS traded down 6.41 percent to $3.07. Shares of the Unilife have dropped about 25 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained about 23.4 percent. Sigma Designs SIGM plunged 8.78 percent to $4.78 on reported EPS this quarter that missed consensus by a penny and revenue that topped expectations.
