Electric Vehicles hold a charge with headlines

For better or worse the electric vehicle market is a consistent hot topic among many investors and traders. Several well known names have their own ideas on which EV companies may be successful and which may not. Alibaba ($BABA) has invested a sizable stake in XPENG ($XPEV),  while Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway ($BRK.B/$BRK.A) has been holding a sizable position in the Chinese EV company Build Your Dreams ($BYD) for approximately ten years.

Recent Chinese IPO start-up Li Auto ($LI), Hyliion inc. ($SHLL) which was brought to market by Tortoise Acquisition Corp. Workhorse Motors ($WKHS) and Nio ($NIO) two other main players in this space have all experienced significant attention over the past few months.

Even with the recent attention to the industry. The focus is primarily still surrounding Tesla’s ($TSLA) Battery Day and the departure of Trevor Milton from Nikola Motors ($NKLA). Fans of the EV may be pleased to hear that General Motors ($GM) veteran Stephen Girsky has stepped up to take on the role of Chairman for Nikola. Showing that General Motors ($GM) stands by their decision to partner with Nikola.

Who will the next big headline be focused on? Blink ($BLNK)? Kandi Technologies Group, Inc. ($KNDI), or someone completely different?
