On this celebratory weekend in the USA which marks the 235th anniversary of the signing of The Declaration of Independence from England's dominance over us, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on how fortunate we are and some of the challenges facing us ahead.We've experienced a great deal of material abundance in this nation. If all we had to measure that was the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), which closed on Friday, July 1st at 12,583, we would at least catch a glimpse.
