Engadget is reporting that the Evo 3D will be crossing the pond over to Europe next month. It will be available “broadly across Europe” starting in July.
It's the exact same phone, with the same name. It has the same qHD screen (540 x 960), the same 1.2 GHz processor, the same stereoscopic 3D screen, and 1730 mAh battery. The only thing changed is a GSM radio was added, and a few very small cosmetic changes.
Which leads us to wonder why HTC didn't tweak a few things and change the name. The Desire HD was an Evo 4G in Europe.
No carriers in Europe were announced, nor pricing. Stay with us, we will report as soon as we get some answers.
