Forex - EUR/USD up at the end of U.S. session

Forex Pros – The Euro was higher against the U.S. Dollar on Wednesday after the release of U.S. data on ADP Nonfarm Employment Change.

EUR/USD was trading at 1.4830, up 0.03% at time of writing.

The pair was likely to find support at 1.4755, Tuesday’s low, and resistance at 1.4940, today’s high.

Earlier in the day, official data showed that non-farm employment change in the U.S. rose less-than-expected to a seasonally adjusted 179K last month, from 207K in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 201K.

Analysts had expected U.S. non-farm employment change to rise 200K last month.

Meanwhile, the Euro was up against the British Pound and down against the Japanese Yen, with EUR/GBP gaining 0.01% to hit 0.8992 and EUR/JPY falling 0.37% to hit 119.54.
