Boyd Gaming Corp BYD reported second-quarter FY22 sales of $894.5 million, up slightly from $893.6 million a year ago and beating the consensus of $872.25 million.
Total operating costs and expenses rose 3.5% to $649.4 million.
The operating margin was 27.4%, and operating income for the quarter declined 8% to $245.1 million.
The company held $250.2 million in cash and equivalents as of June 30, 2022.
Adjusted EPS of $1.48 beat the analyst consensus of $1.38.
Adjusted EBITDAR decreased 8.2% Y/Y to $353.9 million.
Price Action: BYD shares closed lower by 1.67% at $54.28 on Tuesday.
