Cybertruck Tows Raptor Vac At SpaceX Starbase — Is Elon Musk Teasing the Future of Mobility?

EV giant Tesla Inc‘s TSLA upcoming vehicle Cybertruck was reportedly at Starbase in Texas on Tuesday.

What Happened: X user and rocket enthusiast Sean Doherty shared several pictures of the Cybertruck at Starbase and even one of it towing a raptor vac around the spaceport customized for Starship flights.

The people on X expressed awe at the images and videos.

“That looks casually insane,” one wrote.

“Bulletproof, rustproof, can tow a rocket engine and has a million mile battery (probably)…the cybertruck will probably be the last vehicle I buy,” another said.

Yet others joked about a SpaceX- Cybertruck package.

Why It Matters: During Tesla's annual shareholder meeting in May, Musk said that a delivery event for the Cybertruck will be held later this year. With the last quarter of the year here, Tesla enthusiasts are now eagerly waiting for the announcement.

SpaceX, meanwhile, is awaiting the green light from the Federal Aviation Administration to conduct the second flight test of Starship. It attempted the first flight of Starship on April 20 and the rocket exploded in less than four minutes after takeoff.
