Chrysler Recalls Over 4000 Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles Citing Risks Of Fire

Stellantis NV STLA owned Chrysler is recalling over 4000 plug-in hybrid vehicles, citing fire risks.

What Happened: The company has issued a recall for 4,129 model year 2023-24 Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Owing to certain cables not being tightened properly, the electrical connections may overheat and cause a fire even when the vehicle is parked, the company said in a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
