Dunkin' Brands Turns To HubKonnect And Its Self-Learning AI Brain

The resurgence of Dunkin' Brands over the past few years can be attributed largely to the company's rebranding. Adding to this, the company recently announced a partnership with HubKonnect to roll out its self-learning artificial intelligence (AI) brain platform to boost local sales.

This collaboration aims to optimize local marketing for more than 10,000 Dunkin’ restaurants in the United States until 2026 using HubKonnect’s AI technology that collects and analyzes millions of data points to provide a hyperlocal understanding of restaurants’ customers and data-driven marketing strategies​

What Can HubKonnect Do?

HubKonnect’s AI model, a self-learning "brain," constantly learns from customer behavior to adjust tactics for demand and delivery, create hyper-personalized marketing campaigns and enable brands to zoom into the return on investment (ROI) for every tactic at each location.

The AI technology is capable of identifying patterns such as the most purchased products on sunny versus rainy days, the demographic that responds best to price point offers and leveraging mobile data to understand specific customer personas. 

HubKonnect’s optimal local store marketing (LSM) plan, balanced with offers, community events and premium products, has been shown to sustain restaurant sales up to 30% higher than those without an LSM ecosystem. 

Additionally, quick-service restaurants (QSRs) that implement HubKonnect’s grand opening plans have seen baseline sales increase by 10% or more.

Another notable feature of HubKonnect’s LSM approach is its ability to aid drive-thru QSRs in increasing their traffic by 7%. Considering the current labor shortages in the industry, HubKonnect also provides optimal recruitment and management tools that have been known to help restaurants achieve an average of 50% higher employee retention.
