Microsoft Azure Users Face Service Disruption Amid Reports Of DDoS Attack

Microsoft Corp MSFT Azure users reported an outage at 11:00 am ET.

Around 77% of the users faced problems accessing the website, 18% battled login issues, and 6% faced server connection issues, per Downdetector.

Microsoft issued an Impact Statement that read, "Starting at approximately 15:00 UTC on 9 Jun 2023, Azure customers may experience error notifications when accessing the Azure Portal."

The company said that it had determined a potential root cause and is actively engaged in different workstreams applying load-balancing processes to mitigate the issue. It promised to provide the following update within 60 minutes or as events warrant.

The portal is down on the web as a threat actor known as Anonymous Suda claims to be targeting the site with a DDoS attack, Bleeping Computer reports.

Price Action: MSFT shares traded higher by 0.78% at $327.80 on the last check Friday.
