KKR Builds On Its Investment In India's Serentica Renewables - What's On The Cards - KKR (NYSE:KKR)

KKR & Co Inc KKR agrees to invest an additional $250 million in Serentica Renewables, an Indian decarbonization platform.
This additional capital will help Serentica achieve its goal of installing 4000MW of renewable energy capacity, which will aid in distributing sustainable energy to large-scale industrial customers.
The present investment builds on the $400 million investment from KKR in November 2022.
"We are excited to deepen our collaboration with a like-minded strategic partner like KKR. This investment will enable us to further accelerate large-scale decarbonization of the power-guzzling commercial and industrial segment,” commented Pratik Agarwal, Director, Serentica Renewables.
Price Action: KKR shares are trading higher by 1.34% at $53.78 on the last check Monday.
